An impressive 3.2 million viewers tuned in last night to watch part one of Whisper’s prime-time three-part documentary series co-produced with Spun Gold Television: Inside Monaco. Broadcast on BBC Two, the show peaked at 3.4 million viewers and was the most viewed programme at 9pm across all British TV.
The show’s viewing figures far exceeded the BBC2 9pm slot average of 1.2 million and placed Inside Monaco as the channel’s second biggest show of the year. It is one of the highest ever audiences for a factual commission on BBC Two within the last six years.

In addition, the Whisper produced Replay ’66, which went out on Sunday 7 June at 1.30pm celebrating England’s World Cup victory, was the most popular sport of that afternoon, peaking with an audience of 1.3 million.
