LONDON 28 August 2026 – Whisper TV, a leading global production company, specialising in sports, documentaries, branded content, unscripted entertainment, events and esports, today announced its role on “Max vs 100”, a first-of-its-kind motorsport event created by Red Bull with Disney+ and ESPN, streaming live globally on ESPN through Disney+ on Wednesday 16 September as part of existing subscriptions.

The premise is simple and almost absurdly difficult: four-time Formula 1 World Champion Max Verstappen will attempt to overtake 100 drivers at Silverstone. The closed race puts 101 go-karts on track at the same time, bringing together Red Bull athletes, gaming talent, social media creators, streamers, media personalities and surprise guests. British comedian Mo Gilligan will lead the live broadcast coverage, joined by expert race analysis.

Whisper’s Simon Corney executive produces on the Red Bull Media House production, with Whisper delivering the live broadcast. Executive producers also include Antonia Howard-Taylor for Disney+ EMEA, and Ignacio Leon and Kutlu Baklacioglu for Red Bull. “Max vs 100” will also stream live on the ESPN App for ESPN Unlimited subscribers in the U.S. and air on ESPN2 later the same day.

The event builds on Whisper’s live event pedigree – from the global productions of Usyk vs Dubois, Usyk vs Joshua and Fury vs Paul, to EA’s esports series, BBC Sports Personality of the Year and FIFA Best, and on a long-standing creative relationship with Red Bull.

Max Verstappen said: ‘In go-karts, you learn all of the basics; starts, defending, overtaking. Of course, I spent a long period go-karting. It’s always nice to return.”

Simon Corney, Executive Producer at Whisper, said: “Max vs 100 is one of the boldest live events we’ve taken on. One of the greatest drivers of his generation, a hundred karters and one track. It’s a format made for live television, and our job at Whisper is to make sure every moment of it lands. We’ve got a brilliant team on this one, and delivering a first of its kind with Disney+, ESPN and Red Bull is a real privilege.”
