Whisper has been appointed by promoter Skill Challenge Entertainment to deliver the World Feed Host Broadcast of the Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury cruiserweight fight, The Truth, in Diriyah on Sunday 26 February.
Last year, Whisper delivered the World Feed Host Broadcast of the anticipated heavyweight rematch, Oleksandr Usyk v Anthony Joshua II, the Rage on the Red Sea, which was broadcast in over 180 countries.
Jake Paul made his first foray into boxing in 2018 and turned professional only two years later. He has since been named as the top influencer boxer by the Pro Boxing Association following a string of high-profile bouts and boasts a 6-0 record. Tommy Fury has also never lost a fight in his professional boxing career. Half-brother to two-time world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, Tommy made his professional debut in 2018, defeating Jevgenijs Andrejevs at the age of 19. He comes to the fight with an 8-0 record.
For this box office event, Whisper will deliver ambitious and entertaining coverage to audiences across the globe, with international broadcast partners including BT Sport Box Office in the UK and ESPN+ PPV in the US.
Chapter 3 Graphics will enhance the event with their impactful audio-visual effects.
Whisper’s production team includes Whisper’s Head of Sport Pete Thomas, who has worked on world title fights featuring Oleksandr Usyk, Joe Calzaghe, Amir Khan and Carl Froch. He’s joined by Executive Producer John Curtis, who has worked in boxing for the last 15 years on headline pay-per-view events and Bethan Evans, Whisper’s Director of Production. The delivery team will include members from the UK, as well as local crew.
