Whisper is pleased to announce that Roisin Thomas has joined the team as Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel.
Roisin has joined from Fremantle, where she was Director of Corporate Development. Prior to that Roisin was Chief Operating Officer at Banijay Rights, with her tenure spanning both the Zodiak/Banijay and Endemol/Banijay mergers. She has also been Chief of Staff at Zodiak Media and spent five years as Senior Associate at leading media law firm Olswang.
Roisin’s significant experience will help Whisper to deliver on its growth strategy, while also providing leadership and oversight across legal & business affairs and operations. She will sit on the company’s senior management team and report to CEO Sunil Patel.
Another key focus for Roisin will be the continuing development of Whisper’s culture and using its platform to impact positive change. Ambitious, friendly and driven, with D&I statistics well above industry standards, Whisper is continually evolving its working environment and culture, which has led it to being recognised a five-times Broadcast Best Places to Work.
